I have the 1999 Raleigh Special products catalogue/brochure. A very large format which is too large for my A4 scanner.
I would like to give it to retrobike so you can scan and archive it.
Which address can I post it to?

cheers

Re: Admin please read

hmm ... tough call. My scanner takes slightly larger than A4, but it's only 5-6mm larger in both directions really.
There might be a way to scan every page in two halves and put the images together in Paintshop/Photoshop before exporting them to .pdf, but it's a lot of work.

How many pages does the catalogue have?

EDIT : Edited title for clarity

Approx 20 pages cover to cover.
It measures approx 10x16.5 Inches.

Another way would be to mount a camera on a tripod and photograph each page. But I haven't got a digital camera! (only iPhone and Film cams)

I could post it to you anyway

I have an A3 scanner at work if that helps - happy to scan stuff for anyone who requires it.

I work for Toshiba Imaging and can also scan A3 if that helps

All good . I will post it to whoever wants to deal with it.
Let me know

Either way you can email the high resolution scans to me and I can get them in the Archive.
I can also scan in A3 if needed.
Retro Spud probably has the best setup and knowledge on tap for the job.

Good stuff, if someone can scan and send to Ben that'd be great.

We do have a scanner here at retrobike HQ, a £50 canoscan A4. Probably not quite up to this job methinks.
