Adjusting Campy Ergopower levers

Ok so on the left you see how they should be and on the right is how mine (the left one) looks. It still works wthout technical problems but the lever is hard to reach with my fingers and it's just not the way it's supposed to be.
It should move in the direction of the arrows, how do I accomplish thist?

I'm not sure if your photos are actual or something youve photoshopped-in (or whatever the techy term is). From your description I'd say the quick release is activated. The button (stud) that limits travel - it sticks out sideways can be pushed to the left or right to open up the brake calipers to allow the fatter tyre to clear the brake blocks. Push this button through to see if it makes a difference.

It's sorted! And real easy too, thanks Pigman, it was indeed the quick release. I'm used to Shimano brakes which tend to have a little QR lever on the caliper itself.
And yeah I used a photoshopped image of a lever to illustrate what I mean because it's kinda hard to put into words
