Adding bottle cage mounts to alu frame

i have seen my former boss at ga cycles in southampton do it for a customer on a fort cyclocross frame, very neat too. the hardest thing was making sure it was perfectly aligned. must admit though i hated seeing him get the drill out but it was very tidy when finished.

not many shops keep the insert fitting tool these days though. i would suggest phoning a framebuilder.

Any decent panel beaters would do it if you asked nicely. I have the tool to insert them, wasn't cheap I can tell you!

Just about. I'd not trust my entire body to that ready to explode mitsu.


It's a modern cross frame, kinesis pro or somesuch.
