Absolutely horriffic.

It is an awesome event and it will be a real shame if this brings it to an end.

Who remembers the Powerboat racing in Bristol docks in the 80's? That was a site to behold. I remember seeing Steve Kerton's 100mph+ (average) lap in his 2ltr F1 cat, it was nothing short of amazing! Sadly though it was too dangerous and people were killed, so it had to go!

I loved the powerboar racing, but you can see why they banned it; 100mph into a 10ft high concrete dock tended to make life short! :shock:
