Well I put the headset on and then spent two hours chasing the threads on the stem.



What do people think of the flip flop? Too much red?

Thats looking like a sweet project, not at all sad looking

Personally I'd rattle can the stem cap black

It's not a stem cap. It's the silver wedge from the flip flop stem. It looks like the wedgey bit is upside down as the wedge part for the stem is black, steerer, silver.

It was black but powdercoated . Like this:



You can just about make out the black v silver sides.
