A small, and I mean tiny, Fat Chance Yo Betty in the mix.

Rambo Mambo

Kona Fan
Why do I do it? For the love of it. Simples.

Like a magpie, I saw this and had to have it and so it was shipped from the US. It came with the 29.4mm post and that is all I needed. The frame is in stunning condition. At the time of purchase I said to myself “One of my two little cherubs will eventually like and ride this”. How many of us have done that? 🤣🤣💙🖤🩶

This is one of two tiiiny Fats in the fleet. I am determined to make them both work. To be fair I’m 5’6” so a 400mm post will be essential. I’ll do a thread about the red one at a later stage.

The Litespeed fork, in couple of the photos, was never going to work as the head tube is so short and the threaded part wasn’t long enough so it lives in the Serotta for now.

On the fork subject, I acquired a P2 which is an almost exact paint match to the frame (paint done sometime during its life not by me) and I could use it, but, a Landshark with an Amp fork which was for sale on here recently got me (and probably a few others) drooling and ultimately thinking possibilities.

And so, here we are so far…same knackered wall but a fresh project to play with.

As ever, more to come.

I've just put an AMP on a P7 frame and they're just sub-zero levels of cool.

A frame that small has to have a back-story as it's super dinky!
No real story behind the blue one that I’m aware of but I’ll ask the previous owner. His son rode it and as some people do (but not me it seems!) he grew out of it!! 🤣

The red one is a 91/92 I think. I am informed that it was ridden by a female racer (not sure whom) on the Norba circuit in the US in the early 90’s. So it’s rare by all accounts. It came with a knackered early Rock Shox which was colour matched to the frame but was also frozen solid. I might consider getting it back into commission for that build.

Who’s best to approach for that?

Took a couple more shots today. They’re much nicer when standing next to them. The details are sweet but this is about the blue one for now.
