My missus did 180 miles on her wtb speed she this summer, it seems to be a well recommended women's perch. The charge ladle is also highly recommended. There is a decent article by female rider that recommends a dew and describes what to look for.

you need something that will gently cup the vulva without pinching the piss flaps.

Wonderfully crude. Also half right. correct saddle will support bum to avoid pinching and crushing of tender bits. You need to measure her bum - width between "sit bones" to get correct arse support. Avoid very wide "woman's saddles" for off road - she will struggle to slide back on steeper downhills. As for us blokes fit and preference varies but sit bone width at least gives you a guide as to what might work.
