A Rocky Mountain...in its element

Lucky me got married earlier this year and lucky me went to Canada on honeymoon

Even luckier me got to hire a bike and go riding in the Rocky Mountains...there was only one bike choice really

Cool, hopefully going to Whistler in a few years. I would be rude not to indulge in a bit of riding

Those pics were taken in Canmore, just down the road from Banff.

We went to Whistler the following week and I hired a Kona Stinky for a half day, awesome bike, awesome riding, sadly no pics :roll:

Fortunately, new wifie knows me well enough to see it coming before I did.

Fortunately, I know her well enough to know that she'd wake up with a hangover and be more than happy to spend the morning between shops, Starbucks and more shops while I was out playing

Sounds like our honeymoon on Lefkas in 1999, where our bedroom was directly above the Mountain Beach/Sshokwave rental shop. Pure coincidence as we'd ordered the hotel from Denmark.

The price of me getting to go riding with them was a set of very nice espresso cups which my wife insisted we buy. And I am the only one who uses. Win win really.....
