A real retro bike

No need to build em like that anymore because so many from back then are still with us.

I used to own my great aunts 1945 sportster that was found at the back of my grandfathers shed where it had sat for at least 30 years. Worked perfectly, war pattern tyres unperished and still held air, brakes however were well scary in the wet, steel is not good for everything despite Raleighs claims.

An elderly cycling companion of mine claimed he had a friend with a 1930's version of the featured bike that due to its oil bath chaincase had done well over 20 000 miles on one chain

Progress is overated

:D great to see it still going, i cannot see me riding my pace or san andreas when im in my 70s mind
