It's a triple threat, rare expensive and a Klein. My mistake those last two go hand in hand.

As he is a business that has been selling bikes for the last 5 years and collecting for 20 I would say he has made a lot of the right connections. It doesn't hurt being located in the States where a great deal of retro Kleins and MTBs in general were sold.

Buyer beware on any auctions by Sal... I've seen that bike and it's a total POS, I sincerely doubt it was painted by Klein in any sort of official manner. Maybe a Klein employee painted it while working there, but that's the best case scenario.

Also, he sold the MC1 to another Klein guy in LA... so it's hardly lost.
