Hi quick intro

I'm in the Midlands UK after moving around a bit in recent years.

My first road bike I built from the frame up on a kg261 look which has been everywhere with me. I love it a and I have many very don't memories using this bike.
I've discovered a crack in the aluminium lug at the headset/down tube during a service. I'm just grateful I want riding it and it give way. It out repairable or am I SOOL?

Ouch. Definitely a narrow escape from something nastier.

It would need a complete new headtube assembly, even assuming such things are available. Sadly I think it's beyond economic repair.

Sadly I fear that is game over for that frame; you could try Look; you never know ...
