I had an AL-MEGA with a shim and 25.4mm post, it looked stupid because of the size difference.
I believe the thinnest shim USE make is the 30.9 - 31.6 which would be 0.35mm thick.

Just use a strip of a beer can, it works fine. My Bontrager takes a 26.8mm post, but the one I'm using is a 26.4 wrapped 1.5 times with a 2" wide piece of a Diet Coke can. Works perfectly and you can't even tell it's shimmed from 3' away.

Those BBB posts are bang on for the money, and don't look overly out of place on a retro ride. I've got one on my DynaTech.

Though looking at that black Zoom I'd be tempted to get one and shim it with a bit of can
