A query for those who've had titanium frame repairs

I looked into this a while ago; Moots still offer a lifetime (for the original owner) warranty, but most have a lifetime of the product, Noted too it may not be the same for MTB or Road. Van Nicholas sets the lifetime of a Ti frame at 25 years which isn't bad at all.
Cheaper frames like Titus also come with a lifetime warranty, and i think this is an unusual type of failure.
But i find it as a warning to all who believe that ti is unbreakable... it's not.
 
Hi we repair a lot of such titanium failures, that's a common failure, looks like an impact followed by crack propagation in fatigue. Definitely don't ride it that once the cracking in titanium like that has started it will propagate very quickly. Its easily fixed although it takes time to jig/ setting up up create the perfect weld and strengthening in that area to make sure it doesn't happen again
