A Nerd Test

Mine:

Your Aspie score: 69 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 129 of 200
You are very likely neurotypical

Questionnaires such as this, where the participant already knows the subject and potential/desired outcome of the test, are rarely accurate... reason being that by virtue of the fact that you know the purpose of the aqssessment, answers are either deliberately or subconciously swayed towards the desired outcome

Unless the participant that knows from previous diagnostic criteria cannot help but be honest, as you might find many aspies that suffer communicational difficulties ( not all do, look at Ali G), are just plain crap at lying, so there is no alternative to being truthful and that tends to carry over into other things such as tests where the outcome is already known.

But that particular test was of interest to myself not just because it sought aspergers, but it also had questions pertaining to other often related issues like bi polar disorder, adhd, add etc. The results of which could be found further down the page under the graph and there I discovered the already suspected problems might have some basis in fact, in particular ADD and bipolar with myself, but also something I have been denying for years, the fact that the test identified me as giften in my special interest, something most I meet who are the recipients of that special interest have said that I was gifted but I denied it because it was my belief that because I find what I do easy, therefore it was easy to others if they applied their mind to it.

But being gifted means toss all if one cannot function properly on a day to day basis, and with that I have a business idea, but cannot get my head around how to get it moving, as if I coud get it moving, it would be employment for myself where I know I will thrive because I actually enjoy doing what I do and all that as a hope bearing in mind the asperger's label makes one virtually unemployable with the majority of employers in this current work climate, as no one wants employees that struggle with communication and the understanding of that communication and various other work related problems, problems I got fired from countless jobs in the past for despite myself trying to modify my approach and understand what I was not understanding.

And then we have a conservative MP suggesting people with problems could be employed if they were paid below minimum wage just to get them in employment
