That was my perception also, and it is not just the cycle trade, for many back room mechanics are similar and a lot of crafts people, it is I suppose where a certain mind set thrives.

Another clue is appearance, not so much the facial features, but what people wear and do they have a liking for wearing the same thing most of the time and the lack of attention to fashion or if fashion, then obscure fashion, i.e. they don't run with the herd.

I don't follow fashion and tend to wear the same clothes..........if i get something new which usually takes massive deliberation, i usually buy a few pairs of exactly the same thing, hoping that i will be able to wear such garments for many years to come.

Strangley when i have bought fashionable clothes (usually persuaded) they remain un-worn in a cuboard for many years...........it's like part of me likes the idea of dressing like other people, but it is just not comfortable to do so.

Am i sounding Aspie ? ps i have cut my own hair since i was a teenager :shock:
