A little tootle out

Windymillar

Retro Newbie
Trip out today in Northumberland with my mate Johnny on our 70's retro machines, so comfy, I went for a little 50, Johnny pushed on for an 80.

Ellis Briggs Favori and Williams 501

Carbon fibre left at home and collecting dust since I started using the Favori.

Have an ellis briggs favori in 653 and when I sell that i have finished biking. Its part of me when I ride it. The only way I can explain it.Was not built for me but had I gone to ellis briggs and asked them to build a custom frame then that is what i would have got.Forget the carbon. Sell it to someone who does not understand

I am proud to say when it comes to frames I have always been carbon neutral . However I do have a titainium frame + an old alloy frame both with carbon forks .

Not anti carbon by any means.Have an airborne tri bike with carbon forks and an alloy cross bike also with carbon forks. However non of the fleet have the soul of the favori.Dont know what it is but as said it feels part of me in a way that non of the others do. Probably something to do with the fit
