a little problem with ebay and royal mail

will they cover the £77 it looks like i owe ? and what about me ? does that mean i've lost out ? or can i claim for my brake too ? :?

If you can prove the value of an item (documentation etc) and have proof of posting you can submit a claim to Royal Snail. 99% of the time, if all is in order and you have not claimed before they will pay up as a 'goodwill' gesture.

I cant recall what the limit is but I think there was one though....I used to run an eBay Shop and used this many many times for both UK and overseas items.
Like lots of people have mentioned above though, when you are selling things Customer Service is king so spending the extra few pence on Recorded Delivery or the extra couple of quid on Special Delivery pays dividends in these situations...cover your ass and provide a good service

If I ship UK then 99% of the time I send Recorded Delivery, if I ship abroad then I always use DHL.
