No, no - cheers for the concern, Cyfa - just being flippant. I commute on the Giant everyday, and usually ride it off-road many days on the way home too, crazy forks or no crazy forks.

in fact I was working up there instead today as one of my clients lives opposite the forestry carpark.

What sort of Trail is it? I only have a hybrid bike (Scott Sportster P3).

red track is fast flowy singletrack type stuff
few roots and rocks, nothing major
i might have some tyres you could borrow if that helps?
