This was how my marin looked in the for sale last Sunday and nobody wanted it.

So i decided to keep it and I had a root round the garage and now it look like this.

Starting to look a bit more retro i think.

Nice Marin but WOW! thats some size :)
I think a short arse like myself couldnt even reach the pedals if they were pionting upwards :shock:

It only looks bigger than it is due to the 100foot forks on the front raising the front by some inches and tilting the whole thing back so you're on an easy rider :)

I don't know much about modern forks but ZOBES, which I'm guessing is ZOKES as google says so ;) are quite long.
Given for that era bike design for rigid forks, even the short ass MAG's move the front end an inch up and the Judy's about 2" up. Those look mighty long :o
 
With the latest change to the stiff forks, that look far better.

As for Canti's I think the V-Brakes and lever do not look too bad already.

Nice touch with the qr-seat bolt :)

I think you need to readjust the front V-brake pads for the different angle the forks come past the rim (in case you had not noticed and before you ride and try and brake)
