2 Peugeot CAD's in my life, not that they're anything special but they seem to hang around me.
This one was new in 1993 and my only road ride for years. It now lives with my brother.
It always makes me think of Battenburg cake:
This one came to me a couple of weeks ago. The old boy selling it was desperate to get rid of it - he let me have it for £45. He said he rode it once on a cold day, caught a chest infection and took 4 months to get over it. He wasn't going to do anything that foolish again and it sat in his garage for 20 years or so. I've taken off the flat bars and fitted a drop with 8 speed bar end shifters which index perfectly with the Shimano 200 mech. It also has a Bio Pace (!) triple chain set. Odd that it has a rack mount at the dropout but nothing on the seat stays, but the P-clips do the job and I now have a serviceable tourer/winter bike/shopper for about £100.
