97 GT STS-1

my.php

The only good looking GT (well Ok the LTS too!)

Must be the lack of additional triangles that makes it for me :)

looks like a 96 sts. Nice ride but it isn't designed for triple clamps. The later sts ds was the only sts made for use with such forks. Would better suit regular forks anyhow.

Very nice,
Clean and relaxing look. It's just like watching a nice scenary. (??Environement/Area :) )

That is my carbon brother. MY LTS will be shown here soon with a Judy SL world cup ;)

Thanks guys, i bought it from ebay so is not exactly how i want it yet.

need your opinions on where to go next...

1) old skool xtr kit
2) old skool pace forks (single crown) or my all time favorites bomber z1's
3) convert it back to tripple chainset
4) Decent mavics on hopes or possibly crossmax
5) BETD roller bearing conversion
6) The rear shock needs an overhaul, shall i get it serviced or replace it?

What u reckon?

1. m900 xtr would be good. Or original 8 speed XT.
2. Judys suits STS.
3. Yes.
4. Crossmax are a bit new.
5. Good kit but do they do one for this era LTS/STS? Fitted a few to newer LTS and deffo recommend them.
6. Good luck finding a new one...

M950 XTR group.
I have some bearings for you. Don't know if they'll fit, but I have the needle bearings in my BB pivot, hope it will stay and last, becuase I isn't made for it, but it fits.
But I have some left. Maybe they fit in yours, but don't think so.
Also got some bushings left and other LTS parts.
Soon I'll post my LTS, but I'm still working on the Judy WOrld Cup.
