Hi everyone, firstly this is my first post, what a great site!

I have just bought a GT STS but it has a different rear linkage on than most, it also has a different shock? were therre different variations on the design?

Post a photo up, it'll be the model previous to this one posted that uses a regular shock and has less travel.

Ahh I see, can I get the later linkage to fit my bike? Also how can I post pictures? Thanks steve

no the newer style top linkage (trunion mount shock) is different and cannot be interchanged. If you host your photos on photopic or imageshack then post them here using the Img tags at the top of the post window.

Have you brought a LOBO? The shock linkage on these are different to the normal STS.

Could be a lobo good thinking pickle or it could be an early i-drive STS .

Heres a picture of my bike, i think the rear shock is buggered, theres no damping and ive tried adjusting it but still no joy! is this the short travel model? do you know how much travel it has?
