96 Zaskar

Hi All

So I think i'm developing an unhealthy addiction! Buying retro bikes!!

In any case I found another 96 Zaskar that I'm going to freshen up for the wife to ride!!

Picked it up for 250 and it has period XTR, original Mavic ceramic.. IT has been converted to a single speed for some reason, however it should come back well...

A little bashed and crashed in terms of the frame.

Any suggestions on the rebuild??

Yep as its November 96 it'll be a 97 release.. Looks like a different design than my other 96 LE - cool to have something a little different!

Re:

Yes, this is definately a model year 1997 Zaskar LE. Only the LE Version hat CNCed dropouts and some other nice details. IMHO the best Zaskars you can get, together with the U-Brake models (91 and 92).

I think the '98 Zaskar LE was yellow blue, the regualr zaskar was yellow red... well looks that way in the catalogues, but they are a bit blury and I have new glasses, so could be wrong.
