96 Lava Dome -paint work touch up

Has anyone ever touched up the paint work on a 96 Lava Dome (the gorgeous 96 sun burnt Orange) frame?

If so what did you use and pleased were you with the results?

I have just bought a frame from EBay for my next project but it is cosmetically pretty tatty

Worst comes to worst I will take to my local painters and get them to colour match and get new decals but too be honest I really just want to touch it up as I will probably never build it as my Mrs will kill me. Lol

I don't know about that particular colour, but I use Humbrol modelling paint from LSA Models on Sackville Road, £1.65. Either gloss or matt plus clearcoat. Kurust first though.
