Morning Everyone
Bought what I believe to be a 96 Kona Fire mountain last week and I'm wondering if you knowledgeable lot can help me out with a few things.
Managed to get some Rockshox Indy C forks that aren't threaded can you point me in the direction of what headset I need please?

And the way the V brake cables on the back have been ran looks terrible, is there a better way or doing in a bracket or something?

Hopefully the photo link works

Bike looks nice - post up a pic!

Cane Creek and Hope headsets are nice but there's plenty cheaper options that are still good if you're on a budget. Worth checking how much space you have on the steerer as you might be limited on total height (stack height) of headset.

Awesome Guys thanks very much for your help. I'll do another post as I work through the bike and fit the forks. Photobucket is a pig!

This is my 96 Marin Team Issue, you don´t need any thing to put the cable. The cable goes direct from the top tube to the brake.

EDIT:I haven´t seen this photo close .... I have forgot tu put the dust cover. And perhps I should cut the cable 1 or two cm not perfect
