95 Kula charity shop find

Picked this up for my son at the weekend for the grand sum of £130 in a charity cycling shop in Reading.

I’ve stripped it down and going to be selling the bars, forks, X-rays, brakes, headset and then building in with some 9 speed LX stuff I’ve kicking around initially but eventually it will be all XT

Yep, it’s all coming off though and I’ve sold a fair bit of it and got my money back already for the bike.

Will be for my son till he out grows it and then it will enter the new Kula collection (got a 95,96 and 97 and I’m tempted to get a 98 too)

Yeah the mid 90’s Kona paint schemes are imho the greatest.

I know what you mean about buying it all back to make it original again lol!
