94 Explosif build. Finished p7/8

Headset after a visit to the kero bath and ultrasonic cleaner. Nice fresh grease and all seems well. 😁

Tonight, I stripped and rebuilt the rear wheel. I might get the front done tomorrow.

Nice another great kona colour
It was one of my top choices, the other being a 95. Needs a polish and a couple of touch ups, overall though it’s in good nick 😁. One of the ā€œmountain shockā€ decals is damaged so I’m thinking about changing them for ā€œrace lightā€ ones.

I’m pretty sure both sets are for v brakes. I like the look of the speed dial 7s but prefer the bright silver of the others. Or…. I could go xt parallel push with matching levers. I’ve got a few options, arch rivals are in the mix too.
The flite is pretty clean, it’s grey so I think it will be perfectly suited for this build 😁.

And these arrived today, sticking with the grey/silver theme of the build.

As you’ve probably guessed by now, no actual assembly of the bike will start till I’m sure I have all the parts, cleaned and ready. I’ve waited sooo long for this that I’m not sure I could handle sitting looking at a half built bike that’s waiting on one or two parts. That said, once the final part arrives. Stand back! I’m gonna be a man on a mission šŸ˜‚.
