I picked this up a while ago as a cheap bike for a mate. He's now decided he wants something more modern  so I need to get rid.
I think its a 1993. Its a 19" frame and has Alivio gearing/brakes. Gripshi(f)t handles the changes (and supprising well actualy!).
It has a spesh/deore dx rear wheel and something cheap on the front.
Its in great condition for its age and rides really nice.
A mate borrowed it yesterday and it managed 35 miles through the New Forest with no problems at all (appart froma puncture, soit has a new rear tube too!)
Make a great summer pub bike and I'd keep it myself if I had the room!

Now the bad part....after getting this home I realised that the serial number has been removed. Contacted seller who told me that his son bought it from a police auction years ago.
I have his details should there ever be any come-back, but thats the story.

'What about pics' I hear you cry.......

All this for £30, or £50 delivered to your door :D

Looks in pretty good condition and originally fitted (always found gripshift killed my thumbs but then I am a big girls blouse). Can't believe they turned Rockhoppers to aluminium, the steel ones were awesome.

I'd be interested but am doing up a 1997 rockhopper at the moment but thought i'd give you a free bump as it is a bargain

But has to be said though that the best rockhoppers were the classic red ones!

What a bargain

What a bargain!
Looks nice, I have a 13.5'' the same colour/model as this one.
Makster, if its not too much trouble could you have a look at the seatube decal that says 'prestige', does yours say prestige light or just tange prestige?
Just curious as I have seen both and suspect the small versions used the light tubing but have only seen a half a dozen, too few to come to any real conclusions.
