'92 Fisher HooKooEKoo (sp?) frameset

estay gary fisher

its definately a strange one cant find out much about it other than it was only made for one year 1992 made of cro mo and was not that bad in its day lots of people on line said it was a good bike but was let down by its components 500lx

in my opinion it might have been overshadowed by its brother bike which had the same design but shimano dx components

if anyone knows more please feel free to enlighten this poor novice (Me)

I remember this bike from the mags better than most of its era due to the unusual design with the back wheel tucked in for better climbing. Note how the seat tube is vertical going into the BB shell. Can anyone dig out a review of this or another bike with this frame? I'd give it serious consideration if I'd not just bought my third FSR...

From my cold dead hands...! With that shock, paint job and the work that was done on the main pivot, that has to be one of the best examples of an early FSR in the world, unless there's a NOS one out there somewhere.

I'm also now in a position to think about re-creating the JMC long-travel prototype with the pivot at the front of the seat tube. This version made it into a German '96 catalogue, but was replaced by the Ground Controls.

LOL, listen to me and my ego... well done to whoever got the Fisher bargain, hope to see it built up here sometime.
