Tried that.....poor result...especially off road.

30.4 did fit just, but its not original.....

I use the long plastic USE shims. They are sticky.

on my ti frame went 0.2mm up and then sanded it down to a tight fit - reducing risk of seat cluster failure, common on ti

Loads of grip.

If a 30.4 fits then either the tube i.d. is 30.4 or the post is undersized.

No....my tubes were horrid inside, cleaning and corrosion removal got it to 30.4.

The bikes definitely came with 30.3...which is complete pain, but done due to marin experimenting with tange o.s. prestige tubing.

They only did it that 1 year.....so i assume they realised it was a stupid idea.

30.3mm must be an imperial equivalent.
