Well, having a bit of steerer dilemma, I thought I's have a word with Tim (justbackdated) and see if he could sort me out a smaller dia. steerer tube with a 1-1/8" shim........

Today, said items turned up, and have allowed me to run my Shaka fork, exactly as hoped. Can't thank him enough for his help, and of course the parts.

New steerer on the right, with said shim. (I've managed to fit the forks on tonight too, but it's too dark for any outdoor shots, so you'll just have to wait)

Well, god only know's how I managed to get out of work before the sun went down tonight, butI raced home just to take some daylight pics as promised.

As you can tell, I still need to trim the steerer length, but I'm much happier now I've got a proper Ti Quill stem in place, and of course Thooooose forks!!!!

It's a lovely fork to behold, and is kinda like the bastard love-child of both Pace and Manitou, as the parts all seem very similar..
