If it wasn't corroded, wouldn't it come out if you made a vertical cut down the length of the post, or maybe even one either side and then pull it out that way? :?

i made 3 slits over the course of a day :shock: its pretty much impossible to cut all the way thru at the bottom of the pillar though and the post was very far into the frame.you could see a dob of grease squeezed out of th epost at the bottom so it was lubed,just too bloody big.
