'91 Cannondale EST

Well, after waiting over six months for it to arrive.........it's finally here, so I thought I'd better throw it together and see what it's like!

On a Wacky scale of 1-10 this thing is wound up to 11

Thought I'd try and make it properly Retro so it's got toeclips :roll: ......thumbshifters :? ........Force40 braking :? :? ......and a Flexstem :shock: .........this is all new to me

Having raced a modern 29er hardtail at D2D at the weekend I was prepared for a culture shock......anyhow, off I trundled around the local loop and........well, it's different all right :shock:

I think the Flexstem was the biggest shock, but after a few miles I got used to it all and dare I say I started getting vaguely confident, even got a bit of air at one point :shock: .....I had fun

wow....that looks great!!!!.....it looks out of balance with the rear sus mated to a chunky pep fork....love it!!.......purple ano on the bars too....karma restored.....
