... frame was purchased last year (NOS).

Originally had planned to ride it built on Campa 8 speed, but love the feel and ease of use (ie servicing and adjustments) of the later 9/10 spd record hubs so much, decided to use the later ergo power era kit (think pre 2006).

A family heir loom me thinks!

I have to say felt really lucky to get a NOS stock frame. The best bit is the fork steerer was long enough (uncut) that I could get a spacer between the HS locknut to raise up the bars a bit. Im cursed with a really long inseam to torso length so always have trouble getting a good fit.

Until this came along I'd been riding an older beaten up MXL with bars set around 20mm lower than this frame and had been considering a custom built steel frame with taller head tube. Perhaps it looks a little odd with that extra stem height but the fit is so perfect I can comfortably spend the majority of a ride in the drops
