Still needing a seatpost and a chain when i reduce the crank to ss,with maybe a paint job to match the fork ,a kind of bronze colour
Nearly there ,end of next week and it will be ridable ,i'll think of the painting then
leaving the ti tubes in the raw [maybe polished]

No i dont think so ,not after having 1/3 cnc'd to replace missing parts ,then there was two custom wound springs


I do however
have an[nos] F1 that came on the mongoose amplifier cromo legs,135mm threaded steerer though ,so you have to be a short arse,but ive been in contact with amp and they do me a new 260mm steerer for $28 +shipping ,and they've told me how i go about replacing it

yes, the amp fork looks totally wrong on that frame. i'd go for something different...
do you seriously consider painting those cook rsr cranks? anodisation seems to be in pretty good nic? why not swap for something else instead of "destroying" 3DV porn?

Sorry for your confusion but i'd paint the frame only and then only the rear tri and the headtube,why would any1 paint the components?,paint cook cranks ,Dude how did you get to that conclusion :? Crazy talk
I agree with you all the frame dont match the forks but i'd rather lose the frame than the forks[which put me on 1/2 rations for a week to pay for the renovations]
I've just been offered a large kona kilaeua ,so maybe that suits better
I think its because its just too much travel for the old girl

£94 was the last on ebay [inc forks bb hs sp]
mine has a new unused lx bb c/creek cartridge hs and an RST 381r and a stem to help her off
