There is no end to my er, genius.

Take a look at all your bar ends. of about a dozen pairs, only one actually has bars that come off at 90 degrees. I needed these and they were old and tatty so perfect.

Cutting them down I saw what i'd hoped to find. A welded seam with a plug.

The cut pieces were placed in the other end to make handles for grinding. Stubs were offered up regularly and cooled frequently until a fit was achieved.

Then, find your longest bars. Chrome would be nice. ~Needs to be about 700
These might do.

This was ridden last week, albeit briefly due to technical issues elsewhere.

I wasn’t happy with the hand position so ….

Wasn’t happy with the tape either. The Chinese are wonderful people. New tape was even sticky backed plastic. (One for the over 50s blue Peter fans) bar is superb. Nice and manoeuvrable at 800mm. Very stable unlike the drops. I was met up the road by a startled mamil. He responded to my cheerful greeting with a silent stare. Finally she’s done.

For now.
