picked up this 89/90 (?) muddyfox pathfinder, she’s in great condition, struggling to find any similar paintwork online so doubt i’ll be able to get the OG forks unfortunately

Looking at the frame colours and stem combo, it may of originally come with the super trusty/reliable mfx 500/700 polished suspension forks, but as most of the steerers and/or elastomers wore out people where i lived tended to replace with kona project 2 forks at the time. But as @Imlach says, a nice set of black forks will suit it aswell

id like to replace the forks with ones with a longer steerer so i can add some spacers to lift the height or the bars a tad as i’m 6ft2, if you happen to find one with same color scheme i’d love the info as i can’t find anything 💔

Decals and paint job suggest it's a bit later than '89/'90, more like '92/'93 I think, maybe slightly later still. Looks in great condition.

the back fork and paint work matches the 90 from what i can make out. fella said he bought it in 93 as it was his dream bike and he’s kept it in really good nick

Here's a thread with a .pdf attachment of the 1992-3 brochure, so the fact the fella bought it in '93 is spot on. The colour is 'Burgundy Marble' apparently!
