My first 'Dale back in 89-90 was black with gold- looks awesome! Cannot wait to see it finished

Having sleepless nights about the finish on my project dale- I've polished it, then decided to paint it- got the etch primer in the gun this afternoon, then chickened out again. I sooo love raw alloy- so I'm going to sleep on it (again)

Any idea where I can get a Cable Guide for the top tube- one of mine is non orig and looks cack?

except xt front mech lost between here and hong kong and no xt front brake,these have been replaced with exage mountain at present.pics tomorrow..

That's really nice Stew, best looking Dale I've seen in a while, the black with Gold lettering is what I remember associating with cannondale BITD...and is my favourite look by a long way.

Lovely. Out of interest, what type of spray can did you use? I was very impressed with the results from a Holts tin (with a strange-looking nozzle) that I got made up for some car work, but haven't risked a bike frame yet. Your Cannondale is about enough to make me try though (and if I do, I know where I'll be ordering the Decals from )
