I contacted him several times the last time he listed, strange that it has 7 speeds, and he says the only thing Shimano says STX-RC. I basically told him if I could see more pictures, I'd buy.... no response.

So I bit the bullet and bought this bike....I was a little worried because of the 7 speed rear cassette and STX rear derailleur, but it turned out to be a pretty good find. The serial number is M2L63020, making it a Dec 1982 lugged frame with nice Tommaselli levers, Mafac cantis, Ritchey/Specialized bullmoose bars, Sugino AT crank, Suntour thumbshifters, etc. I haven't seen it yet, I had a friend who was local pick it up. I'm really looking forward to checking it out in person 8)
