I think it might well be an Arius, I thought I recognised the logo. They made loads of saddles (Grab Carrera was a cracker) and quite a few seat posts. Think they also made parts for Zeus on occasion.

@Canuk thanks for the info. I checked some Arius examples, but no matchs. Quality of those Arius posts looks to be of higher quality in finish than the mystery post.

Still thinking European make; but no way to determine country of origin.

Kalloy... Country of origin would be Taiwan.

Thanks @SteelNipple missed your initial ID.
I may have a Kalloy, but no logo like that (CF post). My older Asian posts are essentially SR, Sugino, and Sun Tour so nothing to compare to. I will say now seeing the design unmarred (without the text) it does seem a little bit familiar; and the "k" can be barely discerned when looking for it but no other letters.

Definitely not using it for the projects ongoing, but redoing my Nishiki so a good candidate for that bike (with flutes different colors)
