Wanted 80s/90s paintjobs - GT / Univega / Trek / Klein / Panasonic

Hi all,

I'm new to Retrobike, been lurking for a while - and long time member of other UK cycling forums - so hope it's not taboo to start with a wanted thread.

I'm looking for a characterful frame or bike, something with a strong paint job. When I was a kid I rode a rad purple Karakoram so anything in that vein, a Tequesta or the Univega Activa etc. If I can find the same purple Karakoram I'd be incredibly pleased. Bring on the splatter & acid!

Anyway please share if you've got anything, I'm 5"9 and based so would be looking for something around 18". I want to build a MTB I can take out for a night in the woods, so braze-on's would be welcome.

I'd prefer fully rigid!

Based in the South East but happy to pay for / sort a courier.

Got this totally mint 91 Scott superlite. Pictures don’t really show how loud the paint actually is. It says it’s a 20” but it comes up small

I have an 88 Diamondback Arrival frame and fork I'm going to be selling. It's quite a rare model and comes in the alternative white with splatter paint. I think it's either an 18" or 19" and takes a rear chainstay u-brake. Quite niche but can get some pics and measurements if you're interested.
