What a beautiful looking machine.. original paint and the black mudguards, cloth bartape and hoods make it look very classy and understated. This takes me right back to Sunday morning club runs in the late seventies as a teenager and was the type machine the older club members would ride and I greatly admired. Us younger riders would end up covering ourselves and anyone behind to their annoyance in crud on our race reps
I took my Mistral off road over the South Downs Way last Sunday..100 mile ride.. took all day.

Completed a lovely ride on this to Rother valley, its a very nice cruiser I must say, look forward to further adventures.

Hopefully the final change for winter. I managed to ovalise the inner ring on the TA chainset so I've swapped in a new bb and sakae chainset with 46 36 rings. They should better suit my off road and winter work intentions for the bike.

Good old Michelin world tours. I say good old but I've never really used em, but had them on a bike or two. There's all those fancy gravel tyres in that width and more these days but the Michelin are the budget option.

Got a 30 minute test ride in today, really happy with the ride and gearing now. I think the final touch needs to be a nice long front mudflap for a bit of extra protection.
