737 Spuds help

Yeah, lunch time!!

The instructions were there in the box, under the pedals and clips, but only had a few minutes to fondles one of the pedals before doing my chores and off to bed.

I've got to have a set of those collars to do the job right! They're going on the ARC AS, so maybe I can find myself a pair in red to match the rear shock. Might go with a few other red hits on the build up, as well. But, hey beggers can't be choosers, as they say... (a little more purple in my life would'nt hurt).

Wondering if I should source the tools for my tool kit, or is it gonna be more of one time shot. My LBS will let me use the tools for the change-over.

Great... I love having little projects to keep me from the streets.

Tightening the cup and cones on the axle is a nightmare without the right Shimano tools
Isn't it the ones without the cartridge axle (like the M535) that need the special tool for the cone and locknut, because they're set back inside the pedal body. On the 737 you just pull out the axle cartridge and the cone and locknut are accessible with normal tools.

It's been a while, mind...

Mum says I can have some playtime after work while she is out shopping (fair trade in my little world). So I'll tinker with them.

...yep, plastic tool right there in the box. They feel awfully heavy compared to my XC Pro pedals.

...my new best friend in the whole wide world might have some collars for me.
