I bought this in 2013 from Milan where I believe it was originally made. If any one knows any more information regarding this bike I'd be happy to learn more. I took it to L'Eorica in Tuscany in 2014. It wasn't the reason I bought as I'd not heard of L'Eroica until after I'd bought the bike.
I had the wheels rebuilt by the renown wheel builder at Wheelcraft in Lennoxstown, who has done any work on the wheels, hubs or cassette as required.
The bike rides really well, and the hubs are a peach. The wheels run true and the gears and brakes function perfectly well.
After a few years I built myself more modern (90's) bike with easier gearing and so the Lino has hung in the shed mostly ever since. I've always ridden it every few months or so to keep everything maintained and because it's such a great fun bike to ride.
A change of my health has meant that I will no longer ride any kind of distances and I would rather now sell this to someone else to enjoy it.
It is covered in small scratches and scrapes and has a patina befitting to it's age.
I've always maintained it and kept it in good shape as it rides so well when everything is in good working order.
The tyres are old and could probably do with replacing but I'd let a new owner choose tyres of their preference.
The Brooks leather handlebar tape is worn, but they don't sell it in white anymore and I've not found a tape of equal quality yet, and apart from aesthetics it's fine.
I have a spare front and rear derailleur a bottom bracket and spindle and one spare pedal cap which has seen better days. These parts are included.
The bike and I are located in Glasgow.
