5 speed wheels wanted or options?

Nothing....they are tubs and want clinchers
will the ones that midlife has mentioned fit

Possibly but theres always the issue that the 6th cog may foul the drop out. And those wheels feature a Shimano Uniglide cassette - they are a bit thin on the ground to replace if too worn or you cant get them off.

The ones with the Shimano casette I mentioned only as an example of knowing the OLD, the ones I did mention as possible were the freewheel cheap ones from bankruptbikeparts.

You need 700c clinchers with an OLD of 126mm which are plentiful depending on what you want to pay, whether you want them to be period or new / second hand.

PS Tubs would be easier. Some cheap Vittoria Rally and Tufo tub tape. Good vids on you tube about using tub tape.

I have a budget set, rustless spokes, 5spd already fitted, q/r hubs. They wont cost a lot, a few beers maybe.
