I's like to try a 48T crankset (I guess either 28-38-48 or 26-36-48) on my modern MTB with a Hollowtech II bottom bracket. I don't think there are that many models made with this configuration (though the M761 XT and M590 Deore had the 48t ring option I think). Ideally 175mm too.

Anyone have one they might part with? Cheers 8)

Re:

They may no longer sell them in that configuration, but you can make one with the right rings. I'll have a look to see what I have, I know I've some spare m770 arms, I need to check on rings.

You in a rush?

I guess making one up could be the easiest option. XT would be ideal though I seem to remember the M770 either takes a specific middle and/or outer to get the spacing between the rings right? I have a feeling I ran a regular 104BCD middle ring on one at some point and the chain would get jammed between the rings upon shifting. Not in a particular hurry, no.

Cheers

Re:

I've got some race Face cranks which take ht2 bs as well. Might be easier to swap rings as I recall something similar to what you've said re. Shimano, though it was to do with mixing rings.
