4 day week until christmas.....if we last that long!!!!!

The recession has finally hit my corner of south Wales.
The boss got us all together to inform us that he hasn't made any money for 4 months and he lost £30,000 last month(not sure how much truth there is in it as he is a world champion bulls*itter :? ).
As a result its a 4 day week until christmas at least, assuming we make some money in november and december. If we don't he's threatening to pull down the shutters for good :?
If the past is anything to go by this will prove to be the turning point when I get a new(read better)job. But in the current climate it might be a different story.
Anyway, the search starts now
On the upside, its nearly christmas, plus the Wobble in a couple of weeks so its not all bad

Sorry to hear that mate. try to keep your chin up.

My own company has reduced my hours since september. I was working 25-30 hr/week......now just...........7 :shock:

Makes you wonder, don't it....

Sorry to here that, been on a 4 day week or rather 6.5 hour days since the start of the month.

My job has formally been declared at risk.

Back in February I opted to go on a 4 day week to assist my employer, financially, and the MD hoped that others would follow...

They didn't, and 3 months later I lost my job... :roll: :roll: :cry: :cry:
