3x8 flat bar shifters

Yes I know I'll probably get slated but so be it.

So I've taken possession of a Specialized Secteur for me to use on charity rides and am doing a flat bar conversion on it because, well that's what I prefer.

It's a 3x8 and I need a set of flat bar shifters if anyone has any reasonably priced ones available. Seen the Shimano claris etc for around £40 used but kind of hoping (wishful thinking) that I can maybe find something a little cheaper. Probably not but was always taught, you don't ask, you don't get.

I'm pretty sure I have a pair of Shimano LX or XT 8 speed brake/gear shifters in my spares box. I'll have a look tomorrow and let you know.
