Re: Shimano 740x cranks - (almost) any condition/orphaned arms

Hi, sorry I don't have cranks but I'm interested by what you mean with shortening them.

Re: Shimano 740x cranks - (almost) any condition/orphaned arms

Reducing the length from 17whatever to something like 145mm.

They're for my fixed gear TT bike: all about reducing foot speed. Possible aero gains too and the reduced stress on my knees is welcome.

Ah interesting, I ask because I sold some STX cranks to a Russian chap some years ago who planned to shorten them but I never really understood what he meant.

So you will effectively chop them down and make new pedal holes I assume?

Yup!

Well, Mike Burrows will (yes, that Mike Burrows).

Wow! as a long term TCR devotee and collector I am impressed
