30-36mm internal 26" rims 32H - Now sorted with DT FR560

I'm looking for one or two 30-36mm internal rims - such as Spank 32, Hope Fortus 30 or 36, Dartmoor - they are getting scarce from the retailers now, and I need to do some building for friends' children and possibly for myself. The '26 ain't dead' slogan seems to be ringing a bit hollow now, as manufacturers slow down with supply. '26 ain't dead but it's on life support' seems to be a bit more apt. Well, in our house, 26 is going strong on our jump bikes and on the bikes for smaller children, so I wish the supply of rims would buck up a bit from the manufacturers. But in the meantime, any wide rims which are going on here would be very welcome....

Have you considered the pacenti/velocity p35 or blunt 35? I bought some from Brick Lane Bikes. I've got a couple of pairs still going strong, albeit a bit dinged and dented, after ten years.

Someone on the Orange Riders Facebook page is selling a pair of Halo SAS rims in 26" that might be the sort of thing you're after? Guy is Stamford based, and unfortunately not willing to post though.

Thanks both - have managed to get the last of the FR560s (30mm internal) from Chain Reaction and am very interested in the Blunts at 35mm......
